I’m at the expedition bootcamp in Århus. Getting to know my fellow travelers, and more fully grasping the nature of our expedition, has only emphasized my desire to understand and experience Asian culture and religion. My date of departure is soon, yet time seems to progress so slow, and as my excitement increases my patience is tried. The course will end this wednesday, the 9th of September is my date of departure, which I await with great anticipation.

Just got my vaccines today, I need to take some in Hong Kong as well, because it took some time for me to get started. There sure is a lot of nasty diseases one can catch in Asia, after treatment, my chances for survival have been increased significantly.

I am meeting the team I am going to travel with tomorrow, we are going to spend the next week together, getting to know each other, and getting more acquainted with the nature of our work in Hong Kong and India.

It’s going to be some intense and exciting days.

It is final, I am leaving the 9th of september to take part in the Dialogue Expedition, a journey through Asia focused on studying and practicing inter-religious relationships from a christian view-point.

I will join 5 other young danes, we will start out in Hong Kong, where we will stay at a Lutheran centre, after three months in Hong Kong, we will head for Chennai (India), where we will stay 3 more months, until our return to Denmark.
